The Gen-Factor is a radioactive biochemical created using DNA from the cross-reality nomad Sigma, a eugenic agent that mutates most sapient organisms on contact.[1] It is lethal to most beings, but has turned others into super-humans known as Gen-Actives.
Miles Craven exposed his agents in Team 7 to the radiation, killing some and driving others insane all while giving them psychic powers.[2] These powers would extend, albeit differ widely between their future offspring, creating several generations of Gen-Actives.
