Superball was among the many heroes who fought The Nazi when it attacked the heaquarters of Capes, Inc. During the battle the monster crushed one of his arms and a month later he was still recovering.^[1]

After Bolt was moved to the night shift Superball was assigned as his new partner but during their first patrol they found out that their collegue Bulldog had been killed.^[2]
