History

Origins

Titan came from a humble background and through cunning and ambition managed to climb the criminal hierarchy until he became the leader of a powerful criminal cartel. At some point in his life he caught the attention of Machine Head, a member of The Order, who recruited him into his empire where he worked for years.[1]

Early Villainy

Titan was one of the many superpowered criminals working for the crime boss Machine Head until he deciced to betray his employer after he failed to pay him. He waited for him in a park and almost killed him but he accidentally knocked him in a Capes, Inc car with Bolt and Kid Thor aboard who intervened and stopped him.[2][3]

Titan was hired as a superpowered enforcer by criminals robbing a jewelry store, when they were stopped by the the young Viltrumite Mark Grayson during one of his first patrols.[4]

Later, after Mark donned his costume, fought his father, and stopped an alien invasion, Titan tried to steal from a destroyed jewelry but Invincible stopped him and asked him to help with the clean up efforts. Titan accepted and after formally introducing himself he helped Invincible and Atom Eve.[5]

Taking Down Machine Head

Titan later reveals that he is a thug who formerly worked for Machine Head. He then helped Invincible defeat Machine Head, but secretly took control of the crime organization with the help of Isotope.[3]

The Order

When Mister Liu ordered him to rescue Multi-Paul from Stronghold Penitentiary Titan sent Kursk and Furnace to break him out of prison but they were stopped by Invincible and Kid Omni-Man.[6] Titan then tried to break out Multi-Paul himself but he was stopped by Invincible. Mister Liu arrived on the scene and rescued him himself and soon after tried to expel Titan from the Order, who had Isotope teleport them on the Great Wall of China.[7]

Titan and Liu eventually came to blows in New York City, which drew the attention of the Global Defense Agency who sent Invincible to deal with the situation. While Invincible distracted the dragon Titan had Isotope locate Liu's body but just as Isotope was about to kill him Invincible intervened and defeated everyone. An angry Invincible pinned Titan to the wall and prepared to kill him but Cecil Stedman arrived on the scene with reinforcement and arrested him and his accomplices.[8]

In later years, he witnessed the death of Invinicble on live television[9] and following Rex's campaign of the death a small majority of the super heroes, began a new world order scenario and went after Titan and Isotope, apprehended them both, and perhaps ending Titan's criminal empire too.
